The selection procedures for candidates follow the regulations of the home university. Evaluation, supervision and recruitment practices comply with the principles and requirements set out in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Open positions will be widely advertised. As part of the admission process, candidates are required to submit a short research proposal, which will be evaluated during the selection phase. The oral interview, partly conducted in English, may also take place online. Selection is competitive and based on academic qualifications and the candidate’s demonstrated ability to carry out the proposed research activities.

PhD students may be involved in tutoring activities, support to faculty members of the PhD Board, and supplementary teaching activities, in accordance with university regulations.
