The ACCESS PhD Programme has been accredited as an Innovative PhD Programme with an International and Intersectoral (Industrial) focus.
The programme includes a mandatory mobility period for all PhD candidates of at least six months (preferably one year), to be carried out at partner universities or industrial organisations within the PhD Board, involving research and development activities.
PhD candidates will have access to adequate spaces, infrastructures and resources, through their involvement in major European and national research projects active within the host research groups.
At the administrative headquarters in Messina, research activities will be mainly conducted in the laboratories of the ChiBioFarAm and MIFT Departments, in particular at the CASPE Centre – Laboratory of Catalysis for Sustainable Production and Energy of the University of Messina, which is equipped with advanced instrumentation and state-of-the-art research facilities to support the planned research activities.
