The PhD Programme in Sustainability Sciences (SU_SCI) has been accredited as an Innovative PhD Programme with an international profile.

The programme requires all PhD students to undertake a mandatory mobility period of at least six months, preferably one year, at universities or companies that are partners of the PhD Board, where they will carry out research and development activities.

PhD students will have access to adequate spaces, infrastructures and resources, thanks to their involvement in the main European and national research projects active within the hosting research groups.

At the administrative headquarters in Messina, research activities will mainly be carried out in the laboratories of the ChiBioFarAm and MIFT Departments, particularly at the CASPE Centre – Laboratory of Catalysis for Sustainable Production and Energy of the University of Messina, which is equipped with advanced instrumentation and state-of-the-art research infrastructures for the planned activities.
